Beluga Lagoon Patch Notes on troveshop

The update brings a new 6v6 objective-based battleground, systems updates and changes, and new Legendary weapons and Soul Shields.

Beluga Lagoon Update Overview

The update brings a new 6v6 battleground, Legendary weapons and Soul Shields, changes to the pet hunger system, as well as other class and balance changes. See the announcement overview page for a glimpse at some of the changes.

Beluga Lagoon Battleground

The Beluga Lagoon Tournament is thrown every year by the Fish Network Guild. The tournament commemorates the legendary horned White Whale, whose horn is said to have the power to calm the seas and bring forth a bountiful fishing season. In this tournament, two teams of six players each honor the White Whale by placing Whale Horns on their Whale Statues. The first team to place horns on all three of their statues gains the White Whale’s favor and wins the round.

Similar to Whirlwind Valley, the Beluga Lagoon battleground offers team oriented PvP in an objective-based environment. Also similar to Whirlwind Valley there is no gear equalization, so the gear you’ve earned has a direct impact on your damage and defensive capabilities—in addition to skill. There are leaderboards and weekly and seasonal rewards based on ranking.

Beluga Lagoon offers a new and unique opportunity to earn 6v6 battleground rewards, like:

  • Hell Soul Shield
  • Legendary Elder Soul Shield (class-specific)
  • Legendary Galaxy Weapons
  • Battle Points

Last but not least, Beluga Lagoon is the most efficient means of gathering Moonstones available in the game; so get out there and impress that whale!
