The top 16 pairings for Truesilver Championship 3 are out –

The swiss qualifiers meet the invites in the double elimination group stage leading into the playoffs on Sunday.

Truesilver Championship 3 saw a shift in structure compared to its predecessor. The second edition of UK’s biggest Hearthstone LAN saw a format very similar to that of DreamHack, with a massive, fully-open swiss stage leading into groups and then playoffs.

The ongoing issue of ITC, however, is going back to having partial invites, a practice which was very popular in 2015. Eight invites were determined based on their results in previous Truesilver tournaments or the closed qualifiers held last month and they are now ready to meet those who survived the open swiss rounds played on Friday.

The Truesilver Saturday will have some of the biggest names in Hearthstone such as Fireb...

troveshop – Decklist spotlight: Kibler’s RenoYogg Mage /w Karazhan cards

One of game’s most prolific streamers and casters builds it whacky again, reimagining the Reno archetype with some of the new Karazhan cards.

Babbling Book, Firelands Portal and Arcane Giant are just a few of the new options available to Mages in One Night in Karazhan. The swingy nature of the portal already found permanent home in tempo builds and showcased its power throughout the HCT Americas Summer Preliminaries last weekend.

Naturally, there’s more than one way to play Mage. In case of Brian Kibler, there are about five or six different ways. The TCG veteran has taken the aforementioned new cards and whipped up a brand new Reno Mage deck for you to try on ladder. We’re talking full RenoMage, too, not one of those Freeze/Reno hybrids somewhat popular in the Americas region.

troveshop | Truesilver Championship will crown its third champion today

It’s down to the last eight at the Birmingham venue.

Day two of Truesilver Championship 3 marked the end of the group stage phase and the unlikely eliminations of big time competitors. World Champion James “Firebat” Kostesich, two times DreamHack winner Dima “Rdu” Radu and Europe winter champion Ole “Naiman” Batyrbekov will be watching the finals from the bench as the tournament enters championship Sunday.

With exactly seven matches to go before the winner is crowned, several players stand to make a name for themselves. French player Vincent “Vinz” Ralambomiadana and local representative Christopher “Fire” Smith are among the less recognized competitors vying for a share of the $30,000...

troveshop – What's Up With World Of Warcraft's New Double-Jumping Fetish Elves

World of Warcraft’s second hero class goes live this week, and there’s a lot more to Illidan Stormrage’s elite Demon Hunters than meets the blindfold. Sometimes they can triple jump. Blizzard’s Demon Hunter developer preview will tell you all about them.

The MMORPGs second hero class starts life at level 98 some ten years before the events of the Legion expansion. Prior to his defeat at the end of the Burning Crusade expansion, Illidan sent his elite squad of Demon Hunters through a portal to the Legion world of Mardum. There they triumphantly gain two levels, after which they return home to 10 years of imprisonment at the hands of the Wardens...

World Of Warcraft Expansions Revisited: Lich King It's Cold Outside –

Our trip through the first five World of Warcraft expansions on the way to Legion continues into Northrend, the frozen continent no one was paying attention to for the first four years of the game’s existence, but is actually a major threat to all existence.

This piece originally appeared 8/6/16.

In The Burning Crusade the Dark Portal was awakened, granting players access to Outland. Cataclysm transformed the world, opening up new areas of exploration. In Mists of Pandaria a hidden realm suddenly appeared, and Warlords of Draenor transported players to a different time and place. All of those expansions gave us very good reasons why we couldn’t go to the new places previously.

In Wrath of the Lich Ki...
